Preheat oven to 325. In a greased bunt pan, evenly
place 3/4 cup chopped walnuts. In a mixer, mix cake mix and
pudding mix. Add water, oil, and liqueur. Add eggs one at a
time. Then mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter in
pan. Sprinkle on top remaining 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts.
Bake for 50 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes and place on domed cake plate.
On stove top, medium heat, melt butter. Add water
and sugar. Stir and bring to a boil. Take off heat and add
liqueur. Let set for 15 minutes then pour over entire cake.
Repeat glazing till cool and thick.
